The Art of Immersion Program in France
The immersion courses we propose at our school have several benefits to help you learn French in anatural and effective way. First, you will learn and review the grammar and conjugation rules, pronunciation and vocabulary during your class hours with our teachers, so you will have the necessary basics to help you speak more fluent French. You will practice the language both during class hours in groups where you will be able to interact with the teacher and other students and during class hours face-to-face with your teacher where you will be able to work on the points of the French language whose you need it most.
Our immersion program in France has several advantages to offer compared to other institutions where you can learn French. First, the fact that the student groups are small allows our teachers to have the time necessary to help each of the students actively participate in the class, to express themselves in French to the fullest of their abilities. It also allows our teachers to come back to the points discussed if necessary and to allow students to more effectively assimilate the content of the courses. You are thus guaranteed to learn in good conditions. During the individual classes with your teacher, you will be invited to participate more in the class because the purpose of its courses is to enable you to be an actor of your learning and to have more confidence in you to speak French.
In addition, our immersion program in France is progressive and adapted to the level of our students: all the students are placed in a group according to their level in French, they learn and practice the language at their own pace and according to their knowledge, their personal skills and goals, while being listened to and encouraged in their efforts and experiences with the language.
The most important point in our educational program is that you will be able to put into practice what you have taken during classes by communicating with others. In fact, you will speak French daily, at school and outside the school, with the school staff and other students. You will be immersed from morning to evening in the French language and culture. You will learn to speak a French that is not only learned and used in classrooms but in everyday life, a French that is spoken every day, which includes idiomatic expressions, originalities and mysteries that can only be understood by learning it in France and with French people.
Immersion Program in France: testimonials
I went to Ecole des Trois Ponts, for an immersion program in France in April 2017, to study French in France. It was delightful. The people were wonderful; the facility was great; the food was superb. Indeed, this school provides not only French language education but also a cooking school in France. The teachers there were especially good at evaluating my level, and helping me to succeed. I also enjoyed countryside walks --- walking in France and speaking French. The entire experience was superb, and I recommend it.

I finally made the decision to study French in France and in April of this year I attended my first French Immersion Program in France, at L’Ecole des Trois Ponts. I found the school through a friend and, as it came with cooking courses, seemed to be the ideal choice. I was not disappointed. The welcome I had was warm and friendly and I was lucky enough to be part of a really nice group of students from all over the world. As well as the French and cooking courses there were many different options to choose from including wine tasting, walking, visiting local villages, etc - all in all the school offered a variety of activities and all being in the target language was just perfect for us. I would recommend it and would perhaps return for a ‘brush-up’ in a year or two.
